3 important things that a capacity plate will indicate as compliance:

Load Capacity: There will be a recommended maximum gross load capacity for the pleasure craft. Including people, equipment, motor, gear and fuel.

# of Persons: There will be a recommended maximum number of persons (adults) that the pleasure craft can safely cut through the water.

Engine Power: There will be a recommended horsepower limit that the pleasure craft can handle. This is based on the gross load capacity of the vessel.
